There are many ways to get involved!

Assist your elderly or disabled neighbors:

  • Visitor Chat, play cards, watch videos, share coffee - there are many meaningful ways to provide companionship while you develop a relationship with an isolated person. Visit 1-2 times a month or weekly for six months or longer.

  • Transportation This is the most frequently requested area for volunteer assistance. Drive participants to medical appointments, etc. While days and times are flexible, daytime help is particularly needed. Assist frequently or occasionally, with one particular neighbor or different participants as needed.

  • Shopping Assistance Assist a neighbor with grocery shopping or errands on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis at a mutually agreed upon time. This simple task can be a great help to someone with limited mobility.
