Nokomis Healthy Seniors is a Living at Home/Block Nurse Program serving the greater Nokomis area of Minneapolis. We help the neighborhood seniors to continue living safely and independently in their homes by:
- Providing information and referral to community services
- Assisting in the coordination of services
- Recruiting and coordinating volunteers to provide services
- Nursing case management/Coordination of health care
WE NEED YOU!
We need people interested in receiving these services, and also people interested in volunteering.
Services / Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Visitors
- Assistance with grocery shopping and other errands.
- Transportation to medical and other appointments.
